With warmer weather just around the corner, here’s a great recipe to help keep you powering through the brighter days ahead. It’s loaded with protective antioxidants and a punch of color making it especially great after a vigorous asana practice.



Post Yoga Practice Purple Smoothie


  • 1 small frozen banana
  • ¾ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon raw cacao
  • ½ teaspoon maca powder
  • ¾ cup cold water or milk of choice



Combine all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

Serve immediately.

This also works great for bowls.  Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
